Out on Barbican Location Researching areas to Film

Really love the intensity of the light
When myself (Ahmed), and Kyle arrived outside of the Barbican, I immediately saw a passageway to the car park and really loved the whole idea of how narrow this place is and how it creates a closeness feel about it. I also really like how the lighting at the top illuminates almost that whole area and how great it would look if that light shines over our artist, giving a light yellow glow over her – creating an atmospheric feel to it.

When we entered inside the Barbican Centre, we found this ‘thing’, this circular stand (don’t really know what its actually called), where it has a great big hole inside of it, and when you look down inside, you can see the floor below it. We thought this would look great if we had our artist stood in the middle of this circular stand while singing in a high angle shot. So when watching this footage you can only see her and this great circle surrounding her, almost making her feel trapped.
