Editing

On Wednesday 9th November, my group and I attended media workshop to carry on the process of editing our music video. We spent our time firstly by focusing on the refining our individual shots to the exact millisecond so there isn’t any extra footages left in the beginning or ending of the scene to make it look more precise and professional.

Here you can see one of the footages that we recorded our artist ‘Yumi’ by focusing on just her eyes by having an extreme close up. Our aim for this shot was firstly having her eyes closed then on the specific beat of the song, we have her eyes open dramatically to show her performance side as an artist and have some kind of shot where it isn’t just based on her just singing.

Here you can see that we have “Marked” each beat of the song by focusing on each worded beat. This is crucial as we can identify where each shot that we recorded can be placed on the track. The “Mark” allow us to pinpoint where each scene can be placed and where each of the worded beat is.
