The student video I have chosen is the video to the song ‘Cosmic Love’ by Florence and the machines. Firstly I think the mise- en - scene is amazing in this video, and really found it cool how they used an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme. They have used edits and transitions well making it look very professional. I like the way at the start the part is black to show she is dreaming. I think the video fits in with Andrew Goodwin’s idea of disjuncture. I think the only criticism of the video is that there isn’t enough lip syncing.
