Reflecting back on the As year: New skills learnt when doing the lip sync tutorial

In the last few lesson of our AS Media we were told to do a quick practice of making a music video. We were first shown and got advice on how we should shot the music video. I think this was really useful because we got the chance to practice syncing up our video with the original music that we were given when we had to edit it together. I enjoyed using the camera with different and new techniques that we weren’t able to use while filming our thriller film because the music videos don't usually use one still shot with the same angle. We used different interesting shots to make it more realistic like going down the stairs in front of the artist while she was coming down, close ups of the artist face while she was walking around. We learnt at that time that we needed to have the right equipments while filming the clips we weren’t able to use the loud speaker because it wasn’t working so we just had to use head phones which were useful while we were filming but it was difficult to edit because we couldn’t hear the song. But in the end we were able to sync and edit the clips well.
