(This is Yumi the artist, this is just some of the close shots we've taken of her while she starts singing within the base track, we hope to create different angles from different view points so that it has a variety of shots - staying true t the convention of a typical music video, in particular RNB/POP)
(This is the same shot but its just a picture of what you see in reality and how you see it on the camera, we experimented on how close the camera should be and what kind affect we wanted, in the end, Mika and Fahmida came up with the idea that it should be a medium close up of Yumi which includes some of the background)
(This picture is of Yumi being filmed in a full shot where her head going down to her knees is filmed just to establish her casual clothes)
(This is a long shot of Yumi, this picture is a still shot of how we're going to have Umi performing in the base track, we want to emphasise her and the green background to illustrate her isolation and lonliness)
(This is Ahmed trying out different ways to create; as he calls it "abstract" ways of creating different angels of the artist, he wanted to create a variety of different ways in filming the base track and he wanted to emphasise the feeling of the song by having a tracking shot and very slightly tilting the camera at an angle - all to show how the artist is feeling)
(Again this is Ahmed trying his idea's, here his trying to make use of the Mis-en-scene, his idea was to have the leaves falling on Yumi as almost as if its raining leaves, which in editing, we will slow this footage down so it looks more amazing as she embraces who she is)
(This is our base track location which is Bandstand or its called a Gazebo, its in Hyde Park)
(That's just me filming Yumi on a low shot, so I can try and get Yumi to establish her facial expression on to the video, this is very important because half of he music video really depends on Yumi nailing her performance)
