Final Song Choice with explanation of why we chose it


When picking our final song choice, we were very adamant that we wanted a song where we can explore the meaning of the lyrics and create a video that is based solely on the performance, the mise en scene and the editing. Staying true towards Andrew Goodwin’s theory of Amplification, the music video that we want to create will be an interpretation of how we feel about the song. The song is called “Who You Are” by Jessie J. It really is a great video because even though it is a slow song with a simple video of her just looking at the camera, we really love this song and are passionate to create a vivid video of our interpretation of the song.
